Right off the bat, we are guessing ROTATOR CUFF INJURY, right? While there are plenty of work-related injuries that happen to workers who do a lot of drywall installation, shoulder injuries, and particularly rotator cuff tears and partial tears, are epidemic with this kind of work. Meanwhile, employers and workers' compensation insurance companies will eventually say that all or most of your problem is not work-related. At best, they might admit a "shoulder strain" as a work injury. But when you get past the company doctors and an MRI shows rotator cuff pathology, at some point when they want to block or stop your workers' compensation rights, they are going to argue that anything more than short term muscle strain is NOT part of the work injury. They will deny legal responsibility even while their own doctors may acknowledge a rotator cuff problem. Employers will try to leave you without long-term rights for your serious injury, pushing the argument that the work injury is just a temporary strain and anything that requires surgery or creates long-term problems or disability from work must be "degenerative" or "pre-existing." Occupational health doctors and IME doctors are often happy to play along.
Workers who do this work tear up their shoulders over time, not always with a single injury. If the problem developes over time but eventually becomes too much to take, the last in line employer is responsible for that "cumulative trauma" injury. That employer will often do what it can to avoid responsiblity for the injury, however, attempting to make it only your problem -- even if you can't work, can't pay your bills, can't support your family and can't afford to pursue a needed surgery. A good lawyer can prove the relationship between the work and the pathology, even if there was progression over time before a specific work injury or the final work exposure caused the problem to be disabiling.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS:
I had a serious work related injury. I hired Tim after speaking with him and feeling completely at ease with his professionalism and demeanor. My case became complicated over time. Throughout the process I always felt that Tim had my best interest in mind. With every phone call or email, Tim was very informative and proactive, always explaining things in a way I could understand. He worked hard for me in his dealings with my employers insurance company. He did this so much so, the insurance company actually fired their own attorneys in the middle of litigation. In the end, Tim was able to negotiate a substantial settlement, including taking the burden off of me of an excessive amount of unpaid medical bills. I would highly recommend Tim.

Timothy is a really great lawyer. He knows what to do, and how to handle really sticky situations. When I first came to him, I had very little to back me up, but we mainly him lol pulled through and got the job done with GREAT results. If I could back in time I would still pick him as a lawyer 1000 times more. He took his time, talk to me like I was a person and not a dollor sign, and made lawyer jargon understandable english for me. I truely felt comfortable with him handling my case, and I never doubted him since the very first meeting. I also like that he gives his personal direct number to get in contact with him whenever you may need him, and he always responds if not that same day, the very next. The only bad thing I would have to say is its a shame I would have legal trouble to work with him again lol.
